STOP TRYING TO FAST-FORWARD LIFE
Gen Z, I see your hunger 🔥 But social media + tech has convinced us that we should be known today and rich by next week.
We scroll and see the cars, the soft life, the “I made 6 figures at 22” posts… and suddenly the process feels like a delay.
But here’s truth: You can’t microwave what God wants to marinate.
Isaiah 60:22 — “When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen.”
There is an appointed time for your success. Not TikTok’s timeline. Not your friend’s timeline. Your timeline.
Everyone you admire has a backstory you skipped:
The hidden season – David was anointed king but went back to tend sheep. No camera, no likes.
The waiting season – Joseph dreamed at 17 but met Pharaoh at 30. Prison was part of the plan.
The small season – Jesus was 30 before ministry started. Even God doesn’t rush purpose.
The stages you can’t skip:
Learn before you lead
Serve before you shine
Be tested before you’re trusted
Be faithful in private before you’re celebrated in public
Real talk: Don’t hate your process because you saw someone else’s highlight reel.
If you skip the process, you’ll lack the character to carry the promise.
Your “suddenly” is coming. But first, grow through what you go through.
