To finally and effectively combat temptations with all that we have seen as we conclude this series on dealing with temptation, we look at the need for not just understanding but good understanding, now to me, good understanding is a quick assessment of the outcome of your actions and choose to do what is right, so that you don't sabotage your future on the platform of sin. The Bible makes it clear that he that commits adultery lacks understand. Proverbs 6:32, this scripture simply shows that if a person lacks understanding they land in destruction. Like we saw yesterday about the fear of God, it's a major doorway to quick understanding, Isaiah 11:3, which is a grace that the Lord Jesus operated in, to be outstanding, in His lifetime on earth.
RECEIVE THE GRACE TO OPERATE IN QUICK UNDERSTANDING, IN JESUS MIGHTY NAME!

MY COUNSEL!
Learn the fear of good, so that you will operate in quick understanding and be quick to escape the snares of temptations.

WISDOM FOR LIFE
If you fear God, you will have a good understanding, Satan will fear you and you will not fail God.

PRAYER
Oh God, in your mercy, make me of quick understanding, in Jesus mighty name!

As powerful as temptation can be, it doesn't have absolute power over a person, in fact temptations are as powerful as you make them, some people make temptation look invincible simply because they want to overcome it on their own which is impossible, because every temptation has behind an evil spirit, believe it or not. That is why the Bible did not say that you deliver yourself from temptation rather the word of God says that God will make a way of escape, I Corinthians 10:13.
MAY THE MERCY OF GOD, ALWAYS MAKE A WAY OF ESCAPE FOR YOU, IN EVERY SITUATION, IN JESUS MIGHTY NAME!

How does God make a way of escape?
1. The warning of your conscience.
2. The wisdom of the word of God.
3. The warning of the Holy Spirit.

WISDOM FOR LIFE
If you take God's way of escape from temptations, you won't be the scape goat of the devil.

PRAYER
Oh God, in your mercy, help me to always escape temptations, in Jesus mighty name.
