Over *350 parishioners* of *Holy Family Catholic Church, Mataheko-Accra* participated in a spiritual Lenten Retreat, reflecting on the 40-day period of fasting, prayer and almsgiving leading up to Easter. The retreat, themed *"Sent to Witness: Living the Gospel Everyday,"* brought together parishioners for a time of introspection, prayer, and community building.

During the retreat, participants engaged in prayer sessions, and reflection focusing on deepening their faith and understanding of the Lenten season. The event which took place at the St. Arnold Janssen Spirituality Centre in Tuba was led by the SVD priests of the centre who guided attendees in exploring the significance of Jesus' journey to the cross and its relevance to their own lives.

The retreat aimed to help participants cultivate a spirit of self-reflection, renewal, and compassion, preparing parishioners for the Easter celebrations.

We are most grateful to our Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Albert Kojo Gyapanin and his associate, Rev. Fr. John Kwame Owiredu, PPC Executives, the PPC, Welfare Committee and members of the Liturgical Committee for the hardwork to make this Lenten Retreat a success.
We are again grateful to each and everyone for participating and those who contributed in diverse ways. It is our hope that this journey of Lenten brings renewal and spiritual upliftment to us all.
