Our salvation is a costly gift that requires active stewardship and a commitment in sharing the Good News.

1. The Danger of Leaving God’s Presence
The Prodigal's Mistake: Luke 15:13 shows the son gathering all he had and traveling to a distant country, throwing away his inheritance on wild living.
The World's Food: Outside of God's presence, the world eventually starves us spiritually, leaving us empty and desperate enough to envy the food of pigs (Luke 15:16).
The Lesson: Do not be in a hurry to leave the presence of God. True fulfillment, protection, and provision are only found in remaining close to the Father.

2. The Cost and Value of Our Salvation
The Ultimate Sacrifice: Our salvation was not cheap. It was bought at a historic cost—the life of Jesus Christ, who offered Himself as the perfect, living sacrifice (1 Peter 1:18-19).
Cherishing the Gift: Because of this immense cost, we must highly value our relationship with God and not treat His grace casually.

3. Infinite Forgiveness and Complete Restoration
A Faithful Father: No matter how far we have wandered or how many sins we have committed, God's mercy is greater.
The Promise: As soon as the son returned, the father ran to embrace him. Similarly, 1 John 1:9 promises that if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

4. Salvation is a Journey, Not a One-Time Event
Working Out Your Faith: Confession of faith is the starting line, not the finish line.
Daily Growth: We are called to actively maintain our spiritual life and "work out your own salvation with fear and trembling" (Philippians 2:12), growing closer to God every day.

5. Our Duty to Broadcast the Good News
Living Testimonies: Just as Christ sacrificed Himself for us, we are called to offer our lives as living sacrifices (Romans 12:1).
The Great Commission: A vital part of working towards our salvation is testifying about God's goodness and broadcasting the Gospel to a world that is spiritually starving (Matthew 28:19-20).

Altars are powerful meeting points between humanity and the divine. Building a family altar establishes a dedicated place for prayer, worship, and experiencing the holy fire of God's presence.

Biblical Foundation of Altars
Genesis 8:20: Noah built an altar after the flood to offer clean sacrifices, showing gratitude for survival.
Leviticus 6:12-13: God commanded that the fire on the altar must be kept burning continuously and never go out.
Revelation 16:7: The heavenly altar speaks, affirming that God’s judgments are true and righteous.
Acts 10:38-44: Cornelius established a house of prayer (a family altar), leading to a divine visitation and the Holy Spirit falling on his entire household.

Types of Tabernacle Altars
The Bronze Altar (Altar of Burnt Offering): Located in the Outer Court. It was made of acacia wood overlaid with bronze. This is where animal sacrifices were made for the forgiveness of sin.
The Gold Altar (Altar of Incense): Located in the Holy Place, right before the veil. It was overlaid with pure gold. Sweet incense was burned on it day and night, representing the continuous prayers of the saints.

Core Purpose of a Family Altar
Gratitude: A place to thank God for His protection, provision, and mercy over your family.
Reverence: A dedicated space to honor God's holiness and bow before His sovereignty.
Acknowledging God’s Presence: Inviting the Holy Spirit to dwell in your home and lead your daily family life.

Experiencing God Through the Altar
The Example of Abraham: Abraham built altars wherever he went (Genesis 12:7-8). Every altar marked a fresh covenant, a promise, and a deeper relationship with God.
The Divine Encounter: The altar is not just a physical space, but a spiritual gateway. When a family gathers consistently in prayer, the "fire" of the Holy Spirit purifies the home, breaks chains, and brings supernatural encounters.

*MEET PROPHET Samuel Tetteh Doku*

He is the man whose _deeds_ convinced me that you can lead people to Christ and teach them to walk in His consciousness... simply by how well you relate with people.

About a decade ago I shared this here on Facebook:
Mama Vic had cooked and reserved some food for me - "The District Accounts Officer". But we had a week-long program so I had gone ahead to Church.

Daddy parked the food and personally brought it to me.
I was behind the keyboard when he sent someone to call me: _"We brought your food."_

Those who have tasted Mama Vic’s food will agree - she cooks with angels
But for me, it was the thought that counted.
I was "a nobody" for that kind of courtesy.
Yet Daddy reminded me: *"You are a Child of God. And that is enough."*

Today, Daddy came all the way from Kumasi to attend a young brother’s wedding in Accra.
Trust me, an envelope would have done the job.
But for an Area Head to leave Kumasi and come to Accra?

One of his words to me has always stuck:
*"Yaw, I value every relationship."*

That is leadership.
That is Christlikeness.
That is why people follow Jesus through you.

We honor you, Daddy. 🙌
