Renowned Ghanaian music producer and sound engineer Fred Kyei Mensah who’s popularly known as Fredyma has publicly urged Bishop Daniel Obinim and his estranged wife, gospel singer Florence Obinim, to stop airing their marital issues on social media and in interviews.
Fredyma, who lived with the couple for three years and received significant support from Bishop Obinim including employment and help after the 2015 Accra floods, described them as one of the most loving couples he has known.
He warned that public disputes damage their children, church members, and legacy, noting that while couples may reconcile, outsiders and society “will never forgive” or forget the drama. He also appealed to the public to stop fueling the feud.
This comes amid ongoing public exchanges, including Obinim warning his wife not to discuss their marriage in the media and reports of separation after over 20 years together.
