Africa when ? Isn’t it crazy how in the entire Galamsey conversation we are focused on how to turn brown rivers clear again.

But no one is giving us a road map to how we deal with the mercury deposits in our foods and water now. Whats the clean up plan? Whats the health risk and impact assessment? Whats the galamsey related illnesses diagnostics? What’s the Ghana Health Service strategy?

Living in this country is so so scary. Gold for a few, cancer for us all.

Anyway, this morning my the protest starts from spanner junction. Near Accra Mall.

WHAT IS THE GIFT OF SPEAKING IN TONGUES?

Speaking in tongues is a gift of speaking in a language the speaker has never learned in order to minister to someone who does speak that language.The first occurrence of speaking in tongues occurred on the day of Pentecost in Acts 2:1–4. The apostles shared the gospel with the crowds, speaking to them in their own languages. The crowds were amazed: “We hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues! The word tongues that is used in our Bibles was translated from the Greek word Glossa that was used in New Testament manuscripts. The Greek word Glossa means a known foreign language and DOES NOT mean to speak nonsense or unknown gibberish. In 1 Corinthian 12-14 Paul says the gift of speaking in tongues will have a purpose in revelation, knowledge, prophecy or word of instruction. In 1 Corinthians 14:6 the apostle Paul says speaking in tongues is completely useless if no one can understand what is spoken. The apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 14:19 that he would rather speak five intelligible words to instruct others than ten thousand words in an unknown language.
Speaking in tongues is not guaranteed gift that is given to any believer, nor is it necessary for salvation.

According to the Bible, can braiding my hair, wearing hair extensions or coloring my hair take me to Hrr*l fire?

According to the Bible, these outward choices in appearance are not what determine salvation or eternal destiny but the enemy often use this and related topics to keep some people in bo***ge, what is the bo***ge?- a salvation based on self-righteousness and works, diverting attention away from what Jesus did for us to self-efforts. Therefore be ready to see fights and angry comments as we share the truth.

Let's explore this in more detail with Scripture:

🔹 1.)What Does the Bible Say About Hair and Appearance?

The verse most commonly referenced in discussions like this is:

👉 1 Peter 3:3-4 (NIV):

> “Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes.
Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.”

Context:
Peter is not condemning the act of doing your hair or wearing jewelry—he’s making a point that true beauty is internal, not external. The focus should be on your character, not your style. The same applies to Paul’s similar comment in:

👉 1 Timothy 2:9 (NIV):

> “I also want the women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, adorning themselves, not with elaborate hairstyles or gold or pearls or expensive clothes.”

Again, the emphasis is on modesty and humility, not legalism or forbidding style altogether.

🔹 2.) What Sends Someone to Hell According to the Bible?

The Bible teaches that rejection of God, unrepentant sin, and unbelief in Jesus Christ are what lead to eternal separation from God—not hairstyles or modest fashion choices.

👉 John 3:18 (NIV):

> “Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.”

👉 Galatians 5:19-21:

Paul lists the “works of the flesh” that can keep someone from inheriting the kingdom of God—none of them include hair styling. The list includes things like sexual immorality, idolatry, hatred, jealousy, drunkenness, etc.

🔹 3.) So Is Braiding, Coloring, or Wearing Hair Extensions a Sin?

No, not inherently.

It could become sinful if done in a way that promotes pride, vanity, or leads to envy or idolatry (when outward beauty becomes an obsession).

But that’s about the heart, not the act itself.

✅ Summary:

Braiding your hair, wearing extensions, or coloring your hair does not send you to Hell.

The Bible encourages modesty, humility, and inner beauty, but it doesn’t forbid hairstyling.

What matters most is your relationship with God and your heart posture, not your hairstyle.
