The church is God’s work, built to glorify Him and strengthen believers. When people speak negatively, spread gossip, or refuse to support the ministry, it weakens unity and discourages others. Instead of building up the body of Christ, negative words can tear it down and create division.
God calls believers to be builders, not destroyers — to encourage, pray, and support one another. This does not mean ignoring problems, but addressing them with love, humility, and a desire for restoration rather than criticism. Our words and actions should help the church grow stronger, not become tools that cause harm.
The enemy seeks division, but Christ calls His people to unity, love, and service. Every believer has a responsibility to protect the testimony of the church by speaking truth with grace and supporting God’s work faithfully.
Words have power. When we criticize without love or refuse to support the ministry, we can unknowingly harm God’s work. Instead, believers should choose encouragement, prayer, and unity so the church will grow and glorify God.

• Psalm 133:1 — “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!”
