Yesterday, on 22/07/2024, in the evening, the National Youth Week Celebration took off smoothly at Aboso Central Auditorium. Yesterday's meeting was a joint meeting with Fantimines Worship Center. The gathering saw in attendance, the Area Youth Secretary and the Area Youth Organizer, Elder Joel Nyamson and Mrs. Jemima Osika Mensah respectively. We were blessed to have a ministration from our District Pastor, Rev. Emmanuel K. Nkansah on the theme for the Celebration; UNLEASHED TO REACH OUT FOR MAXIMUM IMPACT, quoting from Acts 1:8, 1 Corinthians 15:10, 1Tim 4:12 and Prov 20:29.
Digesting the topic above, the District Pastor for Aboso District, Rev. Emmanuel K. Nkansah, stated that, the glory of the youth is their strength. For this reason, the youth ought to use their strength to glorify God by working tirelessly for the Lord and not to waste away their strength on worldly pleasures. He also added that, the effectiveness of the Holy Spirit is not only limited to tongue speaking; There are higher dimensions of the Holy Spirit that the youth must contend for. To be effective as a youth, it is imperative on us to manifest the gifts and the fruits of the Holy Spirit so that whenever we are called upon to deliver, we could boldly and confidently rise up to the occasion.
Finally, Rev. Emmanuel K. Nkansah, charged the youth to be ready for service. He hinted that, you cannot be baptized in the Holy Spirit and not be effective, so the youths should be ready to take up leadership responsibilities, henceforth.
The youths left the auditorium, charged and poised to be released for service unto their God, after the powerful prayer session led by Elder Emmanuel Kwarteng Osei.
In all, a total of 120 participants attended the opening session of the National Youth Week Celebration, Aboso District.
It continues today at Central; call a friend to call a friend.
