The Women’s Ministry of The Church of Pentecost officially launched its 2026 National Week Celebration, on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, under the theme: "Women Unleashed to Transform Society through the Gospel and the Power of the Holy Spirit.”
Acts 8:4–8, Acts 13:1–4, and Colossians 1:4–6,
The Abeka Area's event was graced by the the wife of our Chairman, Mrs Mary Nyamekye, The Women’s Ministry Director, (Mrs Philomina Mireku), and The Deputy Women's Ministry Director (Deaconess Vivian Amfo) .
Addressing the women, Mrs Mary Nyamekye emphasised on the importance of fasting and prayers and urged women to remain steadfast in intercession during challenging times.
She noted that despite the increasing darkness, chaos, and distractions in society, Christians have a responsibility to influence their environments through discipline, self-control, and godly living. She highlighted that the spread of sin is largely due to the neglect of preaching the Gospel and encouraged believers to be bold in sharing Christ.
In conclusion, she called on women to rise in prayer, hold firmly to their faith in Christ, and actively impact their homes and society for God’s glory.
