Our trip to Martvili region:
Our journey to the Martvili region unfolded like a quiet story, each moment gently leading into the next. We began with a stop at Dedata Monastery, where nature and history seemed to breathe together. Surrounded by calm beauty, we took time to rest, to laugh, and to draw closer as a group, letting the peaceful atmosphere settle into us. In that stillness, it felt as though creation itself was pointing beyond its beauty—quietly glorifying God, the Creator of it all.
From there, we continued to Kaghu Waterfall, a place that felt almost untouched—where creation speaks without words. The flowing water, the richness of the greenery, and the harmony of every detail reflected the greatness of God. It was a reminder that everything around us exists for His glory. We shared a simple meal there, yet it felt special. Our guest from Denmark told stories from their lifes, and soon those stories turned into worship songs as we sang together to our God.
Later, we made our way to Abhesi Waterfall. The air was colder there, sharper, and the waterfall itself was powerful and alive. Some brave souls stepped into the water, meeting its force with laughter and excitement. The roar of the falls, the strength of the current, and the pure beauty of it all once again reflected the power and majesty of God’s creation.
And just like that, as the light began to soften, it was time to return to Kutaisi—carrying with us not just memories of places, but of moments shared, stories told, and a deeper sense of how all creation quietly glorifies its Creator.
