Summer is ending.

The holidays.
The camps.
The break from routine.

And now something new is beginning.

A new school year.
A new term.
A new job.
A new season.

New beginnings can be exciting.

But they can also bring uncertainty.

What will this year bring?
Will I fit in?
What if things don’t go to plan?

But although the future might be unknown to you…

It isn’t unknown to God.

“Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out now. Don’t you know it?” Isaiah 43:19

Wherever you’re going next…

God is already there.

So maybe the question isn’t simply, “What will this year bring?”

Maybe it’s:

“God, what are you doing and how can I be part of it?”

It looked like the end… but it wasn’t.

The cross. The silence. The grave.

Everything felt lost. Hope buried. Darkness winning.

But Easter Sunday tells a different story.

The stone was rolled away. The tomb is empty.

“Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen!” Luke 24:5-6

Jesus is alive.

Death is defeated. Hope is restored. Love has won.

And that means your story isn’t over either.

This is what love looks like

Not comfort.
Not safety.
Not easy.

A crown of thorns.
Nails through hands.
A cross to carry.

Good Friday reminds us: this wasn’t an accident it was a choice.

“He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross…” 1 Peter 2:24

Jesus took on our sin, our failure, our mess.

This is sacrificial love.
Costly. Painful. Real.

The question is will we receive it?

The King… on his knees.

On Maundy Thursday, Jesus does something shocking.

The one with all power takes a towel and a bowl and washes his disciples’ feet.

Even the one who would betray him.

“Love one another as I have loved you.” John 13:34

This is what love looks like.

Not status. Not control. But humility. Service.

Love that gets low.

The question is who could you serve today?
