ANGLESEY PRAYER NETWORK MEETING
At Llangefni Town Hall
Saturday 21 October at 6.30 pm (for 7.00 pm start) to 9.00 pm
with light refreshments from 6.30 pm and a time to chat/pray informally at the end.
Prayer, Worship and Fellowship will be our principal themes but in addition we have three short talks on the theme ‘Community Expressions of Church’.
The first will outline what has been going on particularly among children responding to the Gospel in Llannerchymedd
The second will be a Q&A session with one of our members, John Hay, who is researching and writing a report incorporating various ideas on community expression in church life which has been commissioned by both the Welsh and English Methodist Circuits of Bangor and Holyhead.
The third will focus on ways old and new, in church & chapel, Welsh & English, of sharing fellowship together here in Anglesey. It will touch on such concerns as shrinking congregations still with the desire to meet together; also on wider lessons learnt in coping with Covid restrictions which can go on being beneficial in encouraging further fellowship and growth in faith and witness.
With all of this taken together, hopefully the evening will also be an opportunity not only to get up-to-date on the Prayer Groups meeting regularly around the Island, but also to see if the Anglesey Prayer Network might become a more publicised source of information on such supportive Christian community groups.
Do join us – as always, all are most welcome Plenty of car parking spaces!.
