Father Sebastian spent last night at Canterbury Cathedral for the swearing in of our new Churchwarden Amanda Jolly - it was also Father Sebastian’s first time leading prayer at the Cathedral so a special evening all round - please keep Amanda in your thoughts and prayers as she takes up her new role with us 🙏

Father Sebastian officially opened our memorial bench today in memory of Georgina Maddox whose generosity to the community of Sandwich and Worth was very special - please feel free to come and visit the bench whenever you may be passing 🙏

We had to replace a broken bench in the churchyard earlier this year, so the PCC took the opportunity to have a memorial bench installed to give thanks and remembrance for the generosity of Georgina Maddox - a well known resident of Sandwich who left generous donations to various churches in and around Sandwich on her passing. We are gathering at the bench for a glass of wine and a few words from Fr Sebastian at Noon this Friday and you are very welcome to join us 🍷
