SUNDAY JULY 12th @ 6pm in the Cuddington Hall here at St Mary's. Everyone is very warmly invited to join us and we put a special 'shout out' to young people in the community who would like to engage in conversation about imagining peace throughout the world today.
This is the second of our 'Youth Conversations' evenings and we are delighted to be joined by our special speaker of the evening, David Lelliott OBE.
With over 20 years experience in the Diplomatic Corps, he has worked in the Middle East, Latin America, Africa. India and Europe.
He has dealt with a wide range of portfolios, notably on conflict prevention and resolution.
It will be a fascinating evening and everyone will have a chance to ask David questions..so please do join us, young and old to this time of insight into facilitating peace through the eyes of an experienced Diplomat.

. The first week of June was 'Volunteers week' in the United Kingdom. We are always so grateful and indebted to the great many volunteers here at St Mary's who give so freely of their time and talents. The roles played are many and various that help keep St Mary's running and enabling us to be the best we can be in being a beacon of light within the community we seek to serve... serving all without exception. Our volunteer gardeners have been extra busy of late with the lush spring growth of the lawns, hedges and of course the never ending task of w**ding to make the flower beds so beautiful. The memorial garden within the church grounds has also been lovingly given extra special attention of late, many hours spent on tasks such as as replacing the w**d control fabric, more mulch, w**ding and cleaning of the paving slabs within the beds.
We are always looking for and very grateful for any volunteers who can give a little time..(even if it's just an hour here and there) for the wide range of things that enables St Mary's to be the best we can be serving our community.
If you would ever like to find out more, please don't hesitate to contact us( [email protected])... Thank you!

Our children and young people were just brilliant this morning..taking leading parts in our service with reading, playing music, prayers, serving and discussion. A huge well done to them all. Children and youth are the shining lights in the years ahead of peace and the message of love to be spread that is so needed in our fragile and often anxious world. Big thanks also of course to our many volunteers who assisted the children in the planning stages and enabled them to exhibit their amazing talents and potential to the full to the delight of us all.

FATHERS DAY...21st June 9.30am.
A day when we recognise and celebrate paternal relationships and offer thanks and blessings to Father Figures. You may see your Dad a lot or have many memories of a Dad you no longer see.
We remember on this day all the Fatherly people in our lives'
We also of course recognise and acknowledge that for some, it is a day of potential difficulty and strong emotions.. perhaps for those who are bereaved or estranged. This service is for everyone and we warmly welcome you to join us and come into the hall afterwards for refreshments. Listeners are available after every 9.30am service here at St Mary's in the side chapel for anyone at any time wishing to talk to someone in complete confidence.

Would you like to get involved more in local conservation of our wildlife here in Cuddington?. Recently, we hosted our first 'youth conversations' evening and were delighted to welcome one of our Local Councillors Kim Spickett who gave a very informative talk and then a question and answer session about birds to be found here in Cuddington.. one example of wildlife that the below information refers to within the local Erlibird and Prickles projects.
