BRIEF HISTORY OF THE CHURCH

The CCIC/VOFM started off with a fellowship of 3 people in August 1982 at Ibidun Street. It later moved to the back house of No. 8 Adisa Bashua Str, off Adelabu Str, Surulere with more people in attendance. The church was established on Christmas day in the year 1983, and had its humble beginning in Yewande Memorial School on James Robertson Street, Surulere, from ther

e to the renowned Super Cinema Hall also in Surulere and then to a larger worship centre in Ijora. Most of the properties where the worship centres of the church are domiciled are owned by the church, hence they represent a very strong asset base for the church to continue to do the work of spreading the Gospel, touching and changing the lives and destinies of all that give their lives to Christ at the church. From this humble beginning, now Christ Chapel under the leadership of our dynamic and charismatic Senior Pastors has grown to and now operates from over 40 missions centres across the country and internationally. PRAY WITH YOUR WIFE...

As the Priest, Prophet and Pastor of your home, it is important for you to lead your family into the presence of God and to pray especially with your wife. The bible says that one shall put to flight one thousand and two ten thousand, you can be effective alone but the power of partnering with your spouse in prayer increases results greatly.

More than ever this is a season to remain in the place of prayer like never before. Jeremiah 33:3 says "Call unto me and I will answer the and show you great and mighty things which you have not yet known". There is still a God in Heaven who reveals secrets there is no such thing as mystery to Him. He sees all, He knows all and He is able to reveal all.

Go to Him today believing that He is and that He is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him. You will never be disappointed when you put your trust in Him.

Welcome to June — your month of divine unveiling, uncommon favour, and open doors.

This month, may God open your eyes to see what others cannot see, open your ears to hear what others cannot hear, and anoint your hands to handle what others cannot carry.

May your steps be divinely ordered into hidden riches, secret places, unusual opportunities, and strategic connections.

Every door that has resisted you over the past five months — every delayed answer, withheld favour, blocked access, and silent opportunity — begins to open by the power of God.

May doors fling open of their own accord, not because you forced them, but because they recognise the favour of God upon your life.

June will not be dry.
June will not be empty.
June will not be wasted.

You will see clearly.
You will hear accurately.
You will move boldly.
You will receive abundantly.

Father, in the name of Jesus
I have evidence that my increase is coming.
I have evidence that You are working for me.
I have evidence that I shall not die, but live to declare the goodness of God.
I have evidence that I am healed.
I have evidence that my needs are met.
I have evidence that my bills are paid.
I have evidence that I am divinely protected.

Today, I declare:

Every trial confronting me is small compared to the greatness of my God.
This situation is not bigger than God.
This delay is not bigger than God.
This bill is not bigger than God.
This report is not bigger than God.
This battle is not bigger than God.

Good times are ahead for me.
God is still working.
His power is still working.
His Word is still working.
His mercy is still speaking for me.

More good things will happen to me than all the bad things the enemy has tried to do against me!

I am rising out of every unpleasant situation by the help of the Holy Spirit.
I am not going down.
I am going up.
I am not defeated.
I am victorious.
I am not abandoned.
I am helped by God.
I am not finished.
I am being restored.

Every problem is working for me.
Every difficulty is working for me.
Every attack of the enemy is turning around for my good.

I may not understand everything right now, but I choose to believe what God says.

My faith has evidence.
My hope has evidence.
My future has evidence.
My healing has evidence.
My provision has evidence.
My victory has evidence.

I am rising.
I am restored.
I am protected.
I am helped.
I am victorious always.
