We’re delighted to be hosting and participating in the Wanstead Fringe Festival once again! 🎶

Join us on Friday 18th September for a wonderful evening of piano duet music, performed by the fantastic Yuki Negishi and Simon Callaghan. 🎹🎹

The programme features a beautiful selection of works spanning French, German, Czech and Japanese repertoire:

✨ Schubert: Fantasy in F minor D.940 — 20 mins
✨ Fauré: Dolly Suite Op.56 — 10 mins

Interval — 20 mins

✨ Ravel: La Valse, arr. Lucien Garban — 11 mins

🍷 The bar will be open from 6:45pm.

After an extended break, Lighthouse returns 16th September and it’s better than ever! 🙌

For young people in Years 7, 8 & 9, we’re bringing a packed evening of:

🔥 EPIC all-in games
🥤 Milkshakes & tuckshop
🎨 Crafts & creative projects
🏓 Sports & tabletop games
💬 Accessible conversations about Jesus
🤝 Friendship, community… and LOTS of fun!

🕖 Wednesdays | 7:00–8:30pm

Each week we’ll explore a different saying of Jesus and think about how we can put it into practice in our everyday lives, from loving our enemies and not judging others, to forgiving one another and treating others as we’d like to be treated.

✨ BACK TO SCHOOL | BLESSED & SENT ✨🎒

What a beautiful Sunday celebrating new beginnings and placing the year ahead into God’s hands. ❤️

As our children, young people, families, teachers and school communities prepare for a new school year, we gathered together to worship Jesus, pray, and speak His blessing over them.

🙏 We prayed for courage when things feel difficult.
📚 For wisdom as they learn and grow.
💛 For friendships that encourage and strengthen.
🕊️ For peace in every new and unfamiliar moment.
✨ And above all, that they would know Jesus, walk with Him and discover how deeply they are loved by Him.

What a joy to see every generation worshipping together — reminding us that faith is not just something we pass on, but something we live out together, with Jesus at the centre.

As a new school year begins, may our children and young people go forward blessed, covered in prayer, confident in who they are and courageous in their faith.

“May the Lord bless you and protect you; May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favour and give you peace.” Numbers 6:24–26 ❤️

Here’s to a new season, new opportunities and Jesus going with us every step of the way. 🙌

At today’s service, Rev Abi talked about the biggest and most significant question we will ever face: Who do we say Jesus is?

Our answer to this question has eternal significance. As we recognise who Jesus truly is and allow ourselves to be filled with the Holy Spirit, we step into the fullness of God’s Kingdom, releasing His blessings not only over our own lives but also into the lives of everyone we encounter.
