St John's Church, Essington

A lot of you will be aware that our Vicar, Rev. Helen Duckett, will be leaving our Parish later this month.
Helen's last service at St. John's will be on SUNDAY 14TH JUNE AT 10 am.
You are all very welcome to come along to this service of Holy Communion, and to wish Rev. Helen well.
Helen and her family will be going to a new parish in Barlaston, and will be very sadly missed at Essington.
There will be refreshments served after the service in our WEB annexe.
Let's give Helen the best send-off that we can here in our lovely village of Essington!

CHRISTIAN AID WEEK begins on SUNDAY 10TH MAY.
Every Christian Aid Week, people across Britain and Ireland raise funds, act and pray for their global neighbours in a celebration of hope for a fairer world.
This year's focus is on standing alongside all those who live in poverty.
Christian Aid envelopes will be available at the back of Church for you to make a donation and can be returned to us to send back to Christian Aid any time before the end of May.
