Songs & Rhymes restarts at 10am on Monday this week.
Come and join us for half an hour of nursery rhyme singing and some refreshments and a play in our coffee lounge. Drop in, so no need to book and you can pay for the session by cash or card.

SUNDAY 30th AUGUST
Our service this week is a United SK9 service at St. Mary's Handforth at 10.30 am, led by Rev Ian smart. Everyone is welcome.
Please note there is no service at Wilmslow Methodist Church.

Our service this week will be led by our own David Allaby who will share his thoughts and message. Refreshments will be served after the service and all are welcome.

SUNDAY 16th AUGUST
10.30am
Our morning worship service at 10.30am will be a United SK9 communion service with St Marys and Styal. Led by Rev Ian Smart. The service will be followed by a short Annual Church Meeting during which there is time for discussion and everyone is welcome to contribute.
Refreshments will be served after the service and meeting.

7.30pm
We have a meditative service on Zoom led by Christine Goddard. A chance to stop, unwind and reflect at the end of the weekend.
The theme is Tea, Spirit and Fruit!

On Tuesday 28th July our Craft and Chatter group will be meeting in the coffee lounge from 2 - 4 pm. It is the last Craft and Chatter session before the summer break. Cuppa, cake and chat will continue to meet every Tuesday afternoon in August from 2-4 pm in the coffee lounge. In September, we will revert to our usual pattern of Cuppa, cake and chat on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Tuesdays of the month and Craft and Chatter on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays. Everyone is welcome to come along and voluntary donations towards the refreshments are appreciated and go to the charity of the month.

On Sunday 26th July our morning worship service at 10.30 am will be a shared local arrangement service led by David Tonks. This will continue the occasional theme of Faith in Poetry, with the topic of Living Water. There is no need to be a poet, just the chance to relax and listen to shared reflections and music.
Refreshments will be served after the service and everyone is very welcome to join us.

We had an exciting morning at church with the Wilmslow in Bloom judges coming for a visit. We don't really have any outdoor garden space, so our Craft and Chatter group create displays each year that fit in with the theme for the year. The theme this year is: "Bringing Nature Home" which is all about increasing biodiversity looking at good practice, examples of what community gardening groups are doing and case studies.
We hope you enjoy the displays we have created and come to have a look at them in more detail. (The displays are on Kings Close and Water Lane).
We are grateful to everyone who helped us, including the In Together Cafe and Stepping Stones childcare, who meet in the church.

On Sunday 19th July our morning service at 10.30 am will be led by Rev. Ian Smart and will include Holy Communion. Sunday Kids has finished for the summer, but activity packs will be available for younger children.
Refreshments will be served after the service and everyone is welcome.
