Many years ago, a family member tried to restore the inscription on Cecil and Eileen's memorial. Sadly, the results were not as hoped, and the stone has since weathered considerably.
Time and weather have left the inscription difficult to read, but the memories of Cecil and Eileen remain as important as ever to their family and Sylvia felt the time was right to restore what had been lost.

This was when she contacted us.

Arthur & Dorothy’s memorial was in need of some attention, so their daughter Hilary asked us to restore it.

We carefully deep cleaned the stone, removed the remaining crumbling lettering from Arthur’s inscription, and repainted it to restore its clarity. Dorothy’s inscription was still in good condition and required only light attention.
Hilary was delighted with the finished restoration.

A truly beautiful memorial, hidden beneath the blanket time and weather had laid over the stone — now lovingly revealed once more.
Cora entrusted us with restoring her Grandparents’ memorial, and the final result certainly did not disappoint. The stone was deep cleaned with care, and the inscription fully restored, bringing back the dignity and beauty it deserved.
