It has been a privilege this weekend as part of our club day formalities to thank our retiring rose queen, Matilda, and to welcome our newly crowned rose queen, Scarlett.

It’s made even more special that both of them are part of our cohort who were confirmed this year, and are key members of our church community. We pray for Scarlett as she takes on this role in our church for the coming year, and are excited for all that is ahead!

We gather at 9.30am and 4pm for worship tomorrow, if you’re intrigued about what all this is about, you’d be so welcome to come and join us

We can’t wait for Club Day 2026

This is an amazing annual opportunity to show our town and community that the church is alive!

We’ll have a short time of worship and briefing in church from 8.45am.

We will then be setting off from Christ Church at around 9.30am and will then begin our walk into Kirkham, and then back to church - arriving back at around 11.15am.

Be aware of the road closures throughout the morning, and do come out to cheer us on and celebrate with us - it promises to be a really fun day!

This week, Friday 12th June at 2pm, we’re joined by Penny Farm who will be with us to share about the vital welfare work they do locally with horses
Refreshments & Raffle, and space to build friendships
