We are taking part in the National Month of prayer for toddler groups. Our sheep made by one of our Mother's Union members is on its way to Parliament to be part of a huge flock of sheep from toddler groups from all over the country. Join us through June as we pray for our toddler group, and others across the country Diocese of Blackburn

Then outdoor service outside the winter gardens at 2pm, come join in the fun!

Our wonderful family centenary celebration in Blackpool 'The Big Day Out', with fun activities for all ages, is on Saturday in the heart of the town on St John's Square and nearby venues.

Join with people from your Diocesan family and enjoy a great FREE day together starting at 11am and running to 3.15pm. We will be covering on our social media channels on the day covering the event.

Please note that booking is closed now for the Family Zone. You can still book for the Youth Zone at St. John's CE Primary School, Blackpool, via this link https://form.jotform.com/261252624068354

The hog roast lunch is also booked up, but you can still come along and bring your own packed lunch. The worship celebration in St John's Square from 2pm is open to all - just turn up on the day.

A celebration needs a party. So, on Saturday 16 May 2026 we are inviting the whole Diocese to have a ‘Big Day Out’ together in the centre of Blackpool; a place that has played such an important role in the history of the Diocese.

Kirkham & Wesham Club Day has a long tradition dating back over 200 years where churches get together to ‘walk in faith’

If your child would like to be part of this wonderful tradition then we would love to have them. The walk is taking place on Saturday 13th June accompanied by the wonderful Brindle Brass Band.
