Dear Saints,
As I was praying - the word ‘Ziklag’ kept ringing in my heart.
Ziklag was David’s place of refuge when he fled from King Saul, prominently mentioned in the book of 1 Samuel.
The story unfolds further in 1 Samuel 30, where, after being away for some time, David and his men returned to find that the Amalekites had raided and burned Ziklag - taking the women and children captive, including his wives. David and his men cried out and wept bitterly.
But this time, David rose up as a leader and sought the face of God concerning what he should do.
The instruction from the Lord was clear: “Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all” (1 Samuel 30:8, NKJV) - and that is exactly what David did.
It was also in that place, Ziklag, David heard of the death of King Saul (2 Samuel 1), marking the beginning of his full re-establishment. After this, David relocated to Hebron to be anointed King.
This is now a major turning point in the body of Christ.
The key this time, is the meaning of Hebron.
Hebron means: friendship, unity, brotherhood, and understanding. Hebron was also known as a commercial and industrial centre, making it a place of provision as well.
As I was praying into this, I felt the Holy Spirit show me a reset of leadership worldwide: governmental leadership, territorial leadership, educational leadership and beyond. A new set of leaders are being raised up and they are going to be positioned in this time, for the days ahead.
These are some of the key points the Lord spoke to me:
Some of you truly know and sense that there is a shift occurring within you - a shift towards real change. You also know that you have been entangled in some old structures that have taken away some key things from your life. The old has to go.
You feel expansion in your spirit, yet you don't know how to fill it.
Isaiah 54:2 (NIV) says: “Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cord, strengthen your stakes.”
There is a stretching taking place in your spirit man. The vision has enlarged, but you do not yet know where the provision will come from to fulfil it.
This stretching is pulling you deeper into Kingdom ways: learning how to properly delegate, discerning who to build inner trust with, and understanding authority and delegation as they were intended to function.
No longer leading out of fear that causes you to control the environment, but rather allowing every skilful person to share in the spoils of war.
The Word says that those who went to battle shared in the spoils, and those who stayed guarded the supplies (1 Samuel 30:24).
Whilst the wicked men among David’s soldiers operated out of control and did not want to share the plunder, David ensured that all received a share - whether they went to fight or stayed with the supplies - and established this by issuing a decree for Israel to this day.
What is taking shape is so supernatural because the expansion that many feel within themselves, and the dreams they are carrying, can only be birthed through Kingdom principles.
1. Do not let another person's fear place limitations on you.
2. Ensure that you check in with the Holy Spirit regarding who should go in, who should remain, and who will not become distracted when they arrive at familiar places - moving backwards and reverting to past mindsets, old ways of operating, and scornful attitudes.
Psalm 1:1 (NKJV) says: “Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful.”
Those who refuse to sit among the scornful are the ones coming into places of rulership.
In the previous season, we have seen worship breaking out everywhere, and this is only going to increase in ways none of us have seen before.
As I sat looking into this sound, this increase, I saw a captivating worship arising. Worship is going to increase, and with it we are going to witness great deliverance. You must make room for deliverance.
Men and women are going to be set apart.
Ziklag is an indication that leadership must change and that a shift needs to take place. It’s no longer about entitlement to position; it's about your obedience, stewardship and what you do with what God has entrusted to you.
Isaiah 28:16-17 (TPT) says,
“Here’s what the Lord God says:
“Behold, I set in place in Zion a Foundation Stone, fully tested and proven to be faithful and secure. And written upon this precious cornerstone is this: ‘those who trust in Him will not act in haste.’ I will set justice as the true measurement and integrity as its plumb line…””
These are the ones who will be preserved.
So, I encourage you with this:
Whatever the Lord has told you - whatever strategy He has given you - if you feel like you’re breaking, you’re not breaking - you are expanding.
But it is crucial to hold on to what He has instructed you to do because that is where the growth comes.
This is a season of coronation and ordination.
In obedience to truly building the Kingdom of God, the spirit of Saul is being broken off regions and nations. The moment that happens, there will be a major shift.
May everything that has resisted God’s purposes and Kingdom advancement be exposed, cut off and uprooted in Jesus' mighty name. As Davids arise in obedience, the strongman of Saul will be destroyed.
It does not matter how much Saul achieved.
When God begins to sweep away familiar spirits, He is making way for new leaders to emerge. Leaders who will still honour the Sauls, yet remain focused on their assignment and what God has called them to do.
My eyes have seen men and women operating like the wind.
Don’t be intimidated by what you see and know. Be inspired by what is written in the pages of the Bible.
These are exciting times!
Selah.
Adored,
Reverend Betty King
