Today, a group of us walked the boundary of our 'parish', the community we serve, chatting together and with people we met along the way and stopping to pray for our community. Highlights were bumping into Roger and Sarah from Lindsay Park Baptist Church, a lovely group of Shi'a Muslims preparing to mark Muharram and patting Leo the dog on Barn Hill. It was epic!

We celebrated The Ascension of Jesus yesterday, reflecting on our extraordinary mural by Hans Feibusch, the celebrated 20th century muralist. If you haven't seen it, do stop by and pop in! We're generally open 9-10am Monday and Tuesday, 9-midday Wednesday and 9-midday Sunday. You're welcome to simply enjoy the space as well as come along for a service.

It's election day tomorrow in Brent and it's a privilege for us to be providing the polling station in our parish hall once more for Barnhill ward.

We actively encourage everyone in our faith community to exercise their democratic right and have their say in who represents them. We pray for all those standing for election, for those staffing the polling stations on our behalf and, of course, for those who have the arduous task of staying up to count the vote!
