Thank you to all who attended Street Church this evening.

Wendy Rowell spoke bravely and passionately about her life’s journey through difficult times, and her excellent year providing leadership and pastoral care at St Marks Church Wellingborough since Fr Ben left. Thank You Wendy. God put you in the right place at the right time. 🙏🏻

A big vote of thanks to to worship leaders and volunteers for providing food and fellowship in a relaxed, friendly environment.

Street Church meets on the last Sunday of each month. Next: 27 September. All welcome!

We are delighted and excited to be officially welcoming The Reverend Canon Dr Rowan Williams as our new Vicar at St Mark’s next Wednesday 2nd September at 7.30pm.

Everyone is warmly invited to come along and join us as we welcome Rowan into our parish and celebrate the beginning of this new chapter together. ❤️⛪

If you are coming, we suggest arriving for 7.00pm, as we expect the car park to be particularly busy.

Please join us in praying for Rowan as she begins her ministry with us — that she may feel truly welcomed, supported and at home among us, and that together we may grow in faith and continue to serve our community.

Brilliant time at Street Church! 🙌

Was so good to see everyone – our usual friends plus some new faces! We ate together, sang worship songs and prayed.

Lisa told us how tough things were for her and Marshal as homelessness, Covid, health struggles and addiction all hit hard. But they’re turning things around now! She spoke about the light at the end of the tunnel. Well done Lisa and Marshal. We know it hasn’t been easy. Thank you for sharing with us. You are inspiring.

Massive thanks to every volunteer – honestly couldn’t do this without you! By the way… St Barnabas Church Wellingborough, please arrange a scrumping party in your garden to harvest the blackberries and apples! 😉
