SUNDAY RECAP

As we look back on last Sunday’s sermon with King, let’s take a moment to reflect on the message: 'Called' for Service

• King reminded us that we are all called to serve with compassion, just as Jesus looked upon people with love and care, it encourages us to see the needs around us and be willing to help.

• Know Your Gifts: God has given each of us different gifts and abilities. Whether you are a listener, a helper, an encourager, or a leader, your contribution matters. We are all part of one body, and every gift has value.

• Faith in Action: Being called to serve means putting love into action. Show compassion, support those in need, and use the gifts you have been given to make a positive difference in the lives of others. Let your faith be reflected in how you treat and care for people.

• Pray and reflect on who you are and the gifts you have. Discover what you are good at, use those gifts to serve others, and let love guide everything you do. As Romans 12:6 reminds us, we have different gifts, and we are encouraged to use them.

Our Core Groups run on Wednesday and Thursday nights at 8pm during term-time — and we’ve also got one on Thursdays and Wednesday at 1pm at church if evenings aren’t your thing!

Core groups are smaller gatherings of our church members in homes. We come together to receive Bible teaching & discussion, to pray for one another and to have a good chat and laugh!

Core Groups are at the heart of Church life. Where we do real life together. ✝️

Compass Walking Group 🌲🌳🌲

Join us for a relaxed, friendly walk where community, conversation, and care for one another come first. This group is open to all ages and all abilities, whether you’re part of the church or just looking for connection.

🚶 Easy, gentle walking routes
♿ Wheelchair & buggy friendly
🪑 Seating stops along the way
🐕 Dogs welcome
💬 There is plenty of time to chat and enjoy being together

There’s no pressure and no rush — just a welcoming space to walk, talk, and support one another in a calm, enjoyable setting.

📅 Term-time only – every Tuesday meet at Irchester Country Park.

⏰ Walk: 9:30–10:30am, meet top carpark near ticket machine (Meet 5-10mins before the walk starts)
