Here's recap from last Sunday’s sermon from Karen.

THE GOD WHO SEARCHES

• God's heart is full of compassion and hope. Just as the shepherd searched for the one lost sheep, God continues to seek those who feel lost, hurting, or far from Him.

• Jesus came to seek and save the lost. No matter our mistakes or circumstances, God lovingly invites us to return home and experience His grace.

• The God who searches never gives up on us. Even when we wander, His love pursues us, reminding us that we are valued, known, and deeply loved.

• As we place our faith in Him, we can walk confidently in His grace each day, knowing that God is always searching, restoring, and drawing people closer to Himself.

Christian Foundations is for new believers and for anyone who wants to strengthen their foundations in Christ. Jesus said that a wise builder builds his house on the rock, and that's exactly our heart for you — to help you build a life that stands firm, whatever storms may come.

Our aim is to equip you to apply the teachings of Jesus in everyday life so that your faith becomes strong, steady, and deeply rooted.

There will be lots of space for questions and discussion in a warm, friendly, home environment where nothing is rushed and everyone is welcome.

📍 Where: King & Naomi Lawal's Home - Rushden
⏰ When: Wednesdays, 8:00pm – 9:30pm
📆 During term time only.
☕ Tea & coffee provided.
📖 Bible and course book included.

All are welcome - whether you are new to faith or want to refresh your foundations in Christ.

Our Core Groups run on Wednesday and Thursday nights at 8pm during term-time — and we’ve also got one on Thursdays at 1pm at church if evenings aren’t your thing!

Core groups are smaller gatherings of our church members in homes. We come together to receive Bible teaching & discussion, to pray for one another and to have a good chat and laugh!

Core Groups are at the heart of Church life. Where we do real life together. ✝️

Join us for a relaxed, friendly walk where community, conversation, and care for one another come first. This group is open to all ages and all abilities, whether you’re part of the church or just looking for connection.

🚶 Easy, gentle walking routes
♿ Wheelchair & buggy friendly
🪑 Seating stops along the way
🐕 Dogs welcome
💬 Plenty of time to chat and enjoy being together

There’s no pressure and no rush — just a welcoming space to walk, talk, and support one another in a calm, enjoyable setting.
