BEFORE YOU GO TO CHURCH TODAY
Today, you will drive from, or leave your immediate and extended family, friends and their needs - those your heart is connected to, those that your conscience may have silently whispered to you about.
You will drive past the community you live in and those who have needs in it, some you may have seen, some you may have heard - some, your mind may have contemplated.
Today, you'll most likely drive past the child on the street, outside your community - who has to make a profit of 5GhS on her sachet water wares, for her family to survive; or the boy hoping to sell 5 loaves of bread in order to make it to school tomorrow - but which you'll pretend you didnt see.
People whom if you blessed, they would have looked up to heaven and said "Thank you God" - without you preaching Christ to them; people who would be so grateful they'd say "You were sent by God" - without God asking you.
But you will go to church, you'll give a big offering to God, whom you haven't seen; you will pray for the world to be a better place; then you'll drive the same route home, past the same needs; then you will sigh and say - God has been Good.
God indeed has been good - he gave your destitute soul, life! Are you good in His image? - will you give a destitute life, His gift in your hands?
The need of children, is the ear of God; the need of a woman, the heart of God; and the need of man, the hand of God. Let your heart lead you. To whom God demands, He reveals a need.
