The Salvation Army Welling Community Hub is looking for unwanted LEGO and DUPLO bricks, figures, base plates, and complete or incomplete sets.

We are currently developing future intervention sessions for children, young people, and parents to enjoy together through safe and creative play.

These sessions will focus on:
✨ Building positive connections and relationships
✨ Encouraging communication and emotional expression
✨ Supporting therapy play opportunities
✨ Helping children and parents share thoughts, feelings, opinions, and experiences in a safe environment

The group will also provide support for families with children and young adults who may have learning difficulties or who are neurodiverse.

If you have any unwanted LEGO or DUPLO that could help support this exciting community project, we would be incredibly grateful for your donations.

Please message us directly on [email protected] or drop donations into the Community Hub Tuesdays 10am-12pm & Fridays 10am-1pm.

Every Thursday 10am - 2pm with last Client check in at 1pm - we have our Thursday Breakfast Club+ at our Bexleyheath Church, Lion Rd which is our community drop in for those seeking support and advice from agencies around the borough. If you reside in Bexley borough there is support most weeks from Bexley Council Street homeless, Pier Rd drug and alcohol support, DWP - support with benefits for those that are homeless or have disabilities, once a month we have hepatitis C nurses, once a month we have human trafficking and border force, Thames Reach, and many more. We also offer a safe social space with a free hot breakfast (donations always welcome to help us continue
with our work)
