Friends Of Burtonwood Cemetery Currently we have a very small group of volunteers who are dedicated to looking after our loved ones final resting place.

Moving forward we will continue to improve on what has already been achieved. Inappropriate comments & abuse will not be tolerated.

🌸 Help Us Build A Lasting Tribute at Burtonwood Cemetery 🌸

We are looking for hands to help us construct a new memorial wall within our local cemetery - a place for reflection and remembrance for generations to come.

To bring this project to life, we are looking for:-

QUALIFIED BRICKLAYERS: Skilled hands to help with the core construction. Will need to have relevant insurances, risk assessments etc……

LABOURERS: Willing volunteers to help with moving materials and site prep

MATERIAL DONORS: If you or a local business can contribute bricks, mortar or tools it would go a long way! (Don’t worry if you can’t - we can provide materials for all volunteers)

Whether you can give a few hours or a full day, your contribution will leave a permanent mark in our community.

Unfortunately due to the weather warnings in force, we will have to cancel tomorrow’s volunteer day. We will set a new date in the near future.
