SORRY EVERYBODY - This page may have to be deleted over the weekend :( I have tried to sort the issues out with my fb account, but fb are being no help at all, so i will have to delete my own profile, my biz page and this page i run. I will try my best to save photos and info ready to set up a new page - but we will be losing our 800 page likes/posts and any messages etc :( I will also try to save names of those who are interested in the page - so you may get a request/invitation to like the new page once i set it up. Thanks, Chris.

SHARED from CHESHIRE ROLL OF HONOUR PAGE

Heading over to Ypres tomorrow, on New Years Eve a wreath will be laid at the 8pm service at the Menin Gate, this wreath is dedicated to all those from the county who gave their lives.
On New Years Day we will be walking the area where on the 22nd October 1917 the 16th Bn. Cheshire Regiment attacked, they suffered 338 casualties during the day of which 122 were killed in action, sadly 111 of them have no known grave. Pictured are a few of those who fell.
Weather permitting we will post some drone footage during the visit.

FRIENDS OF FLAYBRICK Registered Charity No. 1107843 Bringing Flaybrick back into the community. Some of the Friends will be collecting donations for our Charity at Asda (Arrowe Park/Woodchurch Rd) for a couple of hours this Monday 16th Dec. between 11am-1pm. If anyone is there during that time and can spare some change for the charity, we would be extremely grateful. Lots of ideas and projects in the pipeline for 2020 that we need to raise money for. EDITED - if you wish to make a small donation via paypal you can do so via [email protected] Thank you in advance. UPDATE...Fantastic £120 raised today. Thanks to the volunteers who 'shook buckets' and to the very generous public who gave a donation. We appreciate your support.

The Friends of Flaybrick are very proud to announce we have been honoured with the Wirral Horn Award 2019 by the Wirral History & Heritage Association :) Each year the Association presents the Award (a replica Wirral Horn) to an individual or group which has made an exceptional contribution towards preserving or enhancing some aspect of Wirral's Heritage. The presentation was made by the Association's Chair, Paul Smith. And was accepted on behalf of the Friends of Flaybrick by our Chair, Rob Dolphin...but we all got in on the photo :) Couldn't be more proud of our Charity tonight. Well done everyone...
