Dear Church Family,

The highly anticipated Quacky Race is fast approaching, and we would love for everyone to be a part of it! This event is a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together, share some laughs, and support a very important project.

**A Race for Our Future**
This year, every single penny counts. All monies raised from the Quacky Race will go directly towards the installation of our new heating and light system. By participating, you are helping to ensure our church remains a warm, bright, and welcoming space for all of our services and community gatherings.

**Event Details:**

* **Date:** 17th June
* **Time:** Registration starts at 18:15 and the racers set of at 19:00
* **Location:** Newmillerdam arboretum

We are currently looking for enthusiastic individuals to get involved in two key ways:

**1. Lace Up and Run!**
Whether you are a competitive runner or just looking for a fun jog with friends and family, the Quacky Race is for everyone. It is a fantastic way to enjoy the outdoors, get some exercise, and share in the incredible community spirit while helping us reach our fundraising goal.

* **Register to run here:**

**2. Join the Volunteer Team**
If running isn't for you, we absolutely still need your help to make this event a success! We are currently building our volunteer team and are looking for people to step into crucial roles, such as serving as a Marshall to help guide the participants and keep the course safe.
Volunteering is a highly rewarding way to participate, cheer on the runners, and be at the heart of the action.

**How to Get Involved**
If you are running, please grab your spot via the RaceBest link above! If you would like to be added to our volunteer spreadsheet, please reply to this message or speak to one of the event organizers after the service. If you are volunteering, we will make sure you are equipped with everything you need.

We cannot wait to share this exciting day with all of you and raise the funds needed for our new heating and lighting. Let’s make this year’s Quacky Race the best one yet!

Godspeed,

Craig
Quacky Race Director

Everybody's welcome this Pentecost Sunday, (the one where the Holy Spirit moved in). It's gonna be a scorcher this weekend, so no better time to call in at your local "cool space"*

9.30am Holy Communion at St Helen's.
11.00am Contemporary Worship at St Helen's.
11.00am Morning Prayer at St Paul's.

*Note: By definition, anything anyone claims to be "cool", is automatically not "cool"; as to state something is "cool", is cleary "uncool".
Whereas, due to the thick stone walls around our lovely place of worship, our church is, actually, very cool.😎 ❀️🧊β›ͺ️
