It's with great sadness that we hear the news of the death of Her Majesty the Queen.

We give thanks to God for her life of selfless service, and pray for her family as they mourn.

We take comfort from the words of Jesus, who said "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16)

We have 2 exciting events happening in the next 2 weeks:

This Thursday we are holding our first "Food for Thought". Come along from 1-2pm for soup & a roll, and hear David Dargue offer some thoughts on the theme of "Anyone for Tennis?"

Then on Sunday 3rd April, we are seeing the return of Messy Church from 4-6pm. There will be activities, craft, food, songs as we look at the Easter story together.

Both events are held at the Church and are free to attend.

Tomorrow morning is a special moment in the life of WRC. We will be holding an Induction Service at 10:30am for our new pastor, David Dargue.

David started in his role in November and we have enjoyed getting to know David, Sarah and their 3 children since their move from Newcastle. Please pray for them as they settle into this new area, church, schools and local community.

Whoever you are, whatever you're thinking, Hope Explored is a place for you to discover the hope of a future that is better than you could ever imagine.

Come and join us at 7:30pm (for a 7:45pm start) on Tues 18th Jan, Tues 25th Jan and Tues 1st Feb for Hope Explored. DM us or send an email to [email protected] for further details or to sign up.

Hope Explored is an informal and relaxed course for anyone who wants to find hope, peace and purpose in life. It's run by ordinary Christian people local to you and is completely free. You don't need to know anything about the Bible, and you won't be asked to pray or sing. You can ask any questions you like, or you can just sit and listen.
