THE WORD FOR TODAY

Listen Closely and Follow

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you. (Psalm 32:8 NIV)

Sometimes we do not realise that Yahweh is trying to communicate with us. We might feel a desire to be kind to someone. That is not random—it is Yahweh speaking to us. Or you might feel uneasy about a situation, as if something is telling you to stay away. That is not just nerves; it is Yahweh protecting you. Do not ignore these feelings or convince yourself they do not make sense. Just obey them.

If you follow that quiet voice, Yahweh promises to guide you on the best path for your life. When we listen to His gentle prompts and warnings, He can save us from heartbreak and lead us to good opportunities. We often feel these urges but dismiss them as unimportant or overthink them. Do not talk yourself out of it. Just obey. Whenever you obey, a blessing will follow.

Prayer for Today:
“Father, thank You for loving me and speaking to my heart. Thank You for helping me understand right from wrong. Help me to be attuned to Your quiet voice and to hear it clearly. Make me quick to act on any warnings, prompts, or suggestions. In Yeshua’s Name,

Amen.”

THE WORD FOR TODAY

It Is Only a Roar.

“It is I who has drawn for all time the boundaries of the sea. The waves may crash and roar against the sand, but the waters do not cross the lines I have drawn.” (Jeremiah 5:22 VOICE)

Like the sound of waves crashing on the beach, you might hear negative thoughts in your mind today, saying, “You will never get better. You will never find the right person. You will never overcome your addiction.” The Bible says, “The enemy goes around like a roaring lion.” He loves to make loud threats and accusations to keep you in fear and worry, making you think your challenges are too big and too strong. Do not let the roar mislead you. When Yahweh gave you life, He placed something special inside you. He promised that when your enemy comes at you in one way, He will defeat them and make them flee in seven directions.

When the enemy roars at you, respond. The Bible says, “Give no place to the enemy.” Do not allow him to fill your mind with thoughts of defeat, lack, and insecurity. Speak back. Declare favour, strength, health, and victory. When you proclaim Yahweh’s promises, just as the waves retreat from the sand, so must the enemy.

Prayer For Today:
“Father, thank You that Your words strengthen my faith, and that I can use my words to face the storms and waves that strike against me. Thank You that nothing is more powerful than Your Word in my heart. I will speak what You say about me and what You promise in Your Word. In Yeshua’s Name,

Amen.”

Called by Name.

“Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine.” (Isaiah 43:1 NLT)

Yahweh calls each of us by name and tells us who we are. He called Gideon a mighty hero, David a giant killer, and Paul a chosen instrument. What does He call you? Do you know who you are? What could you achieve if you saw yourself as Yahweh sees you? What dreams could you accomplish, what obstacles could you overcome, and what influence could you have if you truly understood your identity? Gideon did not feel like a mighty hero. His situation did not match what Yahweh said.

Yahweh names you for who you are before you become that person. After that, it is up to you. If you believe it and embrace it, it can become your reality. Gideon never imagined he would be mentioned in the Bible or that, thousands of years later, we would still talk about him. You do not know where Yahweh will lead you. You do not know which doors He will open, the giants you will defeat, or the influence you will have. You have an amazing future ahead, but it depends on how you see yourself.

Prayer For Today:
“Father, thank You for calling me by name and for making me Yours. Thank You for calling me blessed, redeemed, forgiven, victorious, an overcomer, and a masterpiece. I will not let life label me anything less than what You have named me. In Yeshua’s Name,

Amen.”

THE WORD FOR TODAY

Refuse to Be a Victim.

The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. (Psalm 9:9 NIV)

We all experience unfair situations, pain, and disappointment. The important question is: Are you going to be a victim or a victor? The enemy wants you to feel like a victim, trapped in bitterness and self-pity. It may whisper, “You were not raised well. Your teachers put you down. You have an illness. You lost someone you loved.” But clinging to these thoughts keeps you in pain and allows the enemy to keep you defeated.

To be a victor, start by changing your mindset. Make Yahweh your refuge and strength. Refuse to see yourself as a victim; do not give in to self-pity and bitterness. What happened to you does not define you. It may have been meant to harm you, but if you give it to Yahweh, He will turn it into something good. When you trust Him, you will find the strength to live in wholeness, freedom, and victory. This will lift you higher than you can reach on your own.

Prayer For Today:
“Father, thank You for being my refuge and strength in tough times. Thank You for Your love and for making me Your child, a victor, not a victim of my circumstances. I will stay in peace, knowing that You will turn things around for me. In Yeshua’s Name,

Amen.”

THE WORD FOR TODAY

Activate the Flow.

For she kept saying, If I only touch His garments, I shall be restored to health. (Mark 5:28 AMPC)

In Mark 5, a woman had a bleeding disorder for twelve years. She had spent all her money on the best doctors, but they told her her illness was untreatable. One day, she heard that Yeshua was in her town, and her hope grew. She decided to leave her house, push through the crowd, and overcome her doubts to reach Yeshua. She believed that if she touched His clothes, she would be healed. She reached out, touched the edge of His robe, and was healed. Yeshua turned to her and said, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Your faith brought this healing.”

I wonder if you may be missing out on blessings because you are not using your faith. You might be close to Yeshua, but you are not truly reaching out to Him. You need to strengthen your faith, ignore the doubts, and push past those who say you cannot succeed or improve. Overcome negative thoughts and activate your healing.

*Prayer For Today:*
“Father, thank You that my faith can bring about amazing changes. Thank You that I can reach out and connect with You by faith today. I believe You are making a way for me, that things are turning in my favour, and that victory will be mine. In Yeshua’s Name,

Amen.”

THE WORD FOR TODAY

WALKING CLOSELY WITH GOD.

‎"And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him". (Genesis 5:24 KJV)

Enoch lived a remarkable life, walking closely with Yahweh. In a time when sin and corruption were increasing, Enoch chose to remain close to Yahweh. His relationship with Him was deep and continuous. He spent each day in communion with Yahweh, aligning his actions and thoughts with Yahweh’s will. As a result, Yahweh was pleased with Enoch and took him directly into His presence without him having to experience death.

Walking closely with Yahweh is not about being perfect; it is about wanting to be near Him (Jeremiah 29:11-13). This means seeking Yahweh through prayer, studying the Bible, and following His guidance. Enoch’s dedication challenges us to look at our own spiritual lives.

Are we getting closer to Yahweh each day, or have distractions, sin, or busyness driven us away? Building a close relationship with Yahweh requires effort. When we make time for Him, our hearts begin to match His, and we start to feel the peace, direction, and purpose that only Yahweh can give (James 4:8-10).

Ultimately, our relationship with Yahweh is what truly matters. Although little is said about Enoch's other accomplishments, his walk with Yahweh stands out. This shows that living in fellowship with Yahweh is more important than achieving worldly success or recognition.

Our greatest legacy is not what we accomplish or own, but how closely we follow Yahweh and how that influences others. Make your relationship with Yahweh a powerful testimony to His love and grace, encouraging others to walk with Him too.

Prayer for Today:
Heavenly Father, please help me to prioritise my relationship with You above all else. Grant me a heart that obeys You completely. I pray in Yeshua's name.

Amen.

THE WORD FOR TODAY

Let it Go Quickly.

Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. (Ephesians 4:31 NIV)

Bitterness can knock at your door when things go wrong—someone hurts you, you miss out on a promotion, or you face illness. You cannot prevent these tough situations, but you can control how you respond. If you hold on to your hurt and focus on what happened, you risk letting bitterness take over. This can make everything seem negative and steal your joy and dreams.

When something unfair happens, and you wonder, “Why did this happen?” try to let go quickly. Trust that Yahweh sees everything that happens to you. He knows what is unfair and how to help you grow from it. The longer you let it weigh on you, the harder it becomes to shake off. The main thing is to forgive quickly and move on.

*Prayer for Today:*
“Father, thank You for seeing all that happens to me, including the unfair things. Thank You that I can let go and forgive quickly before bitterness takes hold. I declare that You are my vindicator and that You will make things right. In Yeshua’s Name,

Amen.”

THE WORD FOR TODAY

Was It Passed Down?

“He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free.” (Luke 4:18 NIV)

Some struggles we face may not be our fault. Research shows that issues such as depression, addiction, anger, poverty, divorce, and low self-esteem can be passed down through families. This is not about blaming the past, but you might carry negative traits from your family—feelings you did not choose, such as guilt, shame, anxiety, and insecurity. You may feel burdened by these inherited issues, and trying to overcome them alone can be difficult. Your own willpower might not be enough.

The good news is that Yeshua offers you freedom from these struggles. He promises to break the hold of the past and help you find victory over what has weighed you down. The challenges you face today can be overcome.

Prayer For Today:
“Father, thank You that Yeshua has given me freedom from the struggles I inherited. Thank You for my past no longer holding me back. I believe my chains are broken, and victory is mine. In Yeshua’s Name,

Amen.”

THE WORD FOR TODAY

Obeying Yahweh Fully.

"Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he" (Genesis 6:22 KJV)

At a time when the earth was full of corruption and violence, Yahweh spoke to Noah and asked him to build an ark. This ark would save his family and animals from the coming flood. Building the ark was a huge task that took many years, and Noah probably faced ridicule. Still, he did not hesitate to obey Yahweh or grow discouraged during the long years of work.

Noah’s story shows us how important it is to obey Yahweh, even when it goes against our own understanding, comfort, or what others think. Following Yahweh is not always easy, especially when His commands seem strange or disrupt our plans. Noah built the ark on dry ground, far from any sea. Yet he believed Yahweh's word and acted in faith.

Noah's obedience was complete and unwavering. This teaches us that trusting Yahweh means moving forward, even when we do not fully understand why. Despite the challenges, Noah and his family kept working, facing mockery from those around them. Likewise, we may face criticism for obeying Yahweh, but our job is to honour Him, not to seek others' approval.

Obeying Yahweh fully shows our trust in His wisdom and faithfulness. Yahweh knows our hearts and rewards those who choose to obey Him. When we obey Yahweh completely, we show that our love for Him goes beyond what we can gain. It comes from true respect and acceptance of His will. In this way, Yahweh lives within us, and we live in Him.

When we are close to Yahweh, our prayers become simpler because He hears us and answers even before we ask (John 11:41-42).

Prayer for Today:
Almighty Father, please give me the courage to fully obey You and trust Your plans. Strengthen my faith so I can persevere and stay close to You; I pray in Yeshua’s name.

Amen.

THE WORD FOR TODAY

“Where Are You?”

Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the LORD God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the LORD God among the trees of the garden. But the LORD God called to the man, “Where are you?” (Genesis 3:8–9 NIV)

When Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden, they felt guilty, ashamed, and afraid. They hid from Yahweh, whom they had once loved spending time with. When Yahweh called out to Adam, He asked, “Where is the real you? Where is the confident you, the joyful you, the peaceful you, the you who loves being with Me?” He wanted them to come out of hiding because Yahweh cannot heal what remains hidden. Yahweh approached them to help them escape isolation, fear, shame, and regret, and to restore their relationship with Him.

Yahweh is asking you, “Where are you?” Have disappointments, breakups, setbacks, or mistakes made you feel less passionate, hopeful, joyful, kind, or generous? Have you retreated into hiding? When you feel lost, choose to step out of condemnation, guilt, brokenness, and unworthiness. Yahweh is there to restore your joy, talents, favour, and confidence. This is a new day. Do your part and come to Him.

Prayer For Today:
“Father, thank You that You didn’t create me to hide from You. Thank You that I can come to You and let go of my fears and feelings of unworthiness. I believe that You are restoring all that I have lost and giving me even more. In Yeshua’s Name,

Amen.”
