Today is the Feast of Corpus Christi, the Day of Thanksgiving for the Institution of Holy Communion.

There will be a Mass at 7pm tonight at All Saints', Cranham, to which all members of St Laurence are also welcome.

Lord Jesus Christ,
we thank you that in this wonderful sacrament
you have given us the memorial of your passion:
grant us so to reverence the sacred mysteries
of your body and blood
that we may know within ourselves
and show forth in our lives
the fruits of your redemption;
for you are alive and reign with the Father
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.

Tomorrow we celebrate Pentecost, reflecting on the coming of the Holy Spirit to the first disciples and to us now.

Mass at 8am and 9.30am as usual.

In the evening we join people from other churches in Upminster, Cranham and North Ockendon for the annual Churches Together United Service - 6pm at Cranham Baptist Church.

Footsteps is tomorrow (Monday) at 9.30am in the Lady Chapel - songs, story, prayer followed by playtime and refreshments for those who'd like to stay. Suitable for children under 5 and their parents/carers.

This Sunday we continue to celebrate Eastertide - with the following services:

8am Mass in church
8am 'Building Faith - relaxed worship in the Main Hall, with Lego, for primary school aged children and their parents/carers/siblings
9.30am Parish Mass
6.30pm Evening Prayer on Zoom
