Tomorrow is Mothering Sunday when in our parish churches we remember and celebrate the Mother Church. In the The Diocese of Manchester that is Manchester Cathedral. We have changed our cover photograph to remind us of our Mother Church.

Tomorrow we will remember and give thanks for all those who have cared and nurtured us, and all those who will find the day difficult and the reason may be known only to them and God.

Ash Wednesday, 18th February, marks the beginning of the 40 days of Lent, in preparation for Easter. During this time we are invited to spend time in prayer and self-reflection and to turn back to God.

You are invited to join us at 12.30pm in the worship space in the church hall for a Said Eucharist (Holy Communion) with Imposition of Ashes. All welcome.

This morning we celebrated the Epiphany of Our Lord when we remembered the Magi visiting Jesus in Bethlehem. God's love in Christ Jesus came into the world for everyone.
