📢 Get Involved with Toft Newton Parish Council

The Parish Council is keen to ensure that residents are informed, represented, and able to have their voices heard on local matters that affect our community.

Parish Meeting – Tuesday 7 July 2026, 6:00pm

A Parish Meeting has been called to discuss the appeal hearing involving Faldingworth Defence Limited.

The Health and Safety Executive has varied the company’s licence, and Faldingworth Defence Limited is appealing that decision. Toft Newton Parish Council and Faldingworth Parish Council have been invited to submit comments either in support of, or objecting to, the licence variation.

To ensure any response reflects the views of local residents, a Parish Meeting has been arranged to gather feedback from the community.

Parish Council Meetings

Parish Council meetings are open to the public and include an opportunity for residents to address the Council.

Upcoming meeting dates are:

📅 Tuesday 7 July 2026 – approximately 6:30pm (following the Parish Meeting)
📅 Tuesday 8 September 2026 – 6:00pm
📅 Tuesday 3 November 2026 – 6:00pm
📅 Tuesday 12 January 2027 – 6:00pm
📅 Tuesday 2 March 2027 – approximately 6:30pm (following the Annual Parish Meeting)

Residents from Newton by Toft, Toft Next Newton, and New Toft are encouraged to come and share their views.

Annual Parish Meeting

The Annual Parish Meeting provides an opportunity for registered electors to raise questions, concerns, suggestions, or compliments directly with the Parish Council.

Did you know a group of mice is called a “mischief”!! Very apt for this new collection.
Each of our new mice have been given names and personalities.
£5 each and all proceeds go to support our wonderful church.
