Lively local Anglican Churches which worship Jesus and promise a warm welcome to everyone Welcome to the parish of Wonersh and Blackheath.

There are two churches in the parish, St John's, Wonersh which is lively and informal and St Martin's, Blackheath which is more traditional. There is Kid's Church at St John's at every 10am service. Our service times are as follows:

1st Sunday of the month - 10.00am service in both churches with communion at St Martin's
2nd Sunday - 8.00am Service of communion and 10.00am Morning Worship, both at

St John's
3rd Sunday - 10.00am Service of communion at St John's and 6.00pm Choral Evensong at St Martin's
4th Sunday - 10.00am Morning Worship at St John's and 6.00pm service of creative silence at St Martin's
5th Sunday - 10.00am Communion Service at St John's

We believe in the love of God through the presence, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Our belief is in Jesus as God's son and that we are called to know Christ and make Christ known through our lives, service and hospitality. That is why we try to offer a warm welcome to everybody.

After the amazing success of last year, we’re having another Family Fun Day! 🎉

Do bring your family and join us this Sunday for a fun filled afternoon amongst friends- the perfect way to re-connect after the summer break.

We also have our ⛪️ All Age service beforehand, 10-11, so if you fancy coming to see what church is all about then we’d love to see you 😊

MUMS’ PRAYER GROUP STARTING TOMORROW!

Mums and babies welcome to come and share in a friendly safe space, with coffee, cake and chat. I will be hosting, combining my two hats of Children and Families Leader and Postnatal Doula.

I’d love you to join me and share your experiences of early motherhood and how we can use prayer to support one another.

Back by popular demand, St. John's is running an Easter Story Arts and Crafts morning at Lawnsmead. It's on Good Friday between 10 and 11.30am.

It's not too late to sign up, or even just come on the day. Do join us for family fun, crafting, storytime and hot cross buns!

LOL Bear Theatre Company's Easter Show is now exactly a week away and we can't wait to see West End Actors in Wonersh for their interactive, pantomime style production!

St. John's and Christ Church Shamley Green are very excited to be joining forces to host LOL Bear Theatre Company's amazing interactive Easter Show on 23rd March.

LOL Bear is made up of around 20 West End, BAFTA award winning actors, and we are promised an awesome afternoon catering for all ages.
