Meet Mel
One of my fabulous members and a massive inspiration...
Here’s her story

Hi I’m Mel

I am a member of the great Beversbrook Calne Slimming World Wednesday 1130 group, run by the fabulous Slimming World consultant, Emma Dodson.

I was referred by my GP and walked through the doors in late November 2017. It was a little daunting but I was made so welcome and felt amongst friends straightaway.

Since then I have lost a total of 6 stone and I have to admit there have been ups but many more downs on the scales: however the support from Emma and the members within the group who give support and inspiration each week when all has not been so good. As well as the actual weight loss; I have lost 9inches from bust - 11 inches from waist and 8 inches from hips and have dropped 5 dress sizes.
I still have my health issues but am so convinced that without Slimming World and its healthy eating plan, I would be so much more unwell.
However its not always about the big things: its about being able to sit comfortably behind the steering wheel of the car, wrap a bath towel around you, not being confined to certain places to shop for clothes and also to be able to see your toes!

So come along would be great to see you

Here’s Ranjna’s Story-

“I walked through the door and thought this is it” On 1st January 2019..... I walked through the door at shaw villiage with my friend very nervous, not knowing what to expect .... I got a warm welcome from my consultant Emma who made me feel so welcome.... the group was showing so much support and encouraging me to step forward and sign up.... this was the best decision I had made.... on the first week I lost 4lb on the second week I lost 3 1/2 lb it was just falling off me and the plan was so easy to follow.... as months have gone on I have managed to lose 3st 10lb... my confidence level is high.... and my dress size is low.... I am looking forward to getting to my target weight by May 2020..... by then I would have lost 5st.... then maintain my weight for life.... Emma has given me continuous support and has been there through every stage of my journey.... I am so proud to be part of Purton group who has brought me so far with all there support. Thank you Emma & Slimming world x
