Hi Everyone,

We’ve come to a time where COVID restrictions are lifting, face-to-face youthwork is coming back, and so in the past few weeks I have met with some of the Synergy leaders to talk over the future of Synergy.

The problem; is that the venue we situated ourselves in for the events has ceased to exist as a sports venue, and so SYNERGY how we once held it cannot return.; despite there being a clear desire for the youth groups still to meet in an “event style” capacity.

In praying and speaking with the leaders that met, it was evident that there was a desire to have young people meet in a front-led, fun, faith-filled, worship event that held a clear evangelistic talk at the end. Each evening would have a theme which the young people would engage with, however in essence, the event would stay the same. i.e. Christmas event - bring a Santa hat, and we’d serve slushes and have a snow machine….

The feeling is that it should be on a Saturday evening as to not make youthworkers/churches choose between attending the church event or SYNERGY.

So why am I telling you this? I’d like to know what your thoughts are around the proposal? Would you be up for it? Would you support it? And why?
