The UK was a founding signatory to the 1951 UN Convention on Refugees which created this safety status. In fact British lawyers wrote much of it. A proud and inclusive history. Not to be apologised for.

The Islamic Relief Org globally described Eid al-Adha as one of the two blessed Eids that we celebrate as Muslims. It follows the end of the annual Hajj pilgrimage period and is also known as the Feast of Sacrifice.
