DOXA

DOXA DOXA is a one day worship conference, geared towards Asian Heritage churches. www.doxanetwork.org.uk All are welcome.

Worship through music is a beautiful way for us to express love to our Creator. We're passionate about worship through music and our prayer for this event is for Church music teams around the country to join us for a day where we explore all the things we face when leading and serving in a Church worship team. We know only too well that whilst serving on a worship team is an honour and a blessing

that comes with many joys, there are also plenty of challenges that come along with it and we hope DOXA gives us all an opportunity to share all these things with each other and maybe even come up with some ideas together on how to solve these challenges. We start this project from the perspective of the Chinese church, and more specifically, from its English speaking congregations, as we know many around the country share the same passions and heartaches. That said, we know that these aren't limited to just Chinese churches, so therefore this conference isn't either! One thing is for sure; we do not have all the answers. Our hope is that when we meet together, we can share all that we can and build connections that will allow God to nurture and teach us what we need to grow. The meaning of the word DOXA in Greek stands for glory, praise and honour, and that is exactly what we want to offer to Him, with all our heart, soul, mind and strength.

DOXA24: Sanctuary! It is such an encouragement to gather 150 worshippers from many local churches across the UK, in unity and worship, pursuing God above all else. We are so excited for what God is doing in our midst and it is a huge privilege to do this, because of His grace. We are praying that God continues to pour into you and your worship teams as we serve Him in our churches and beyond!
