To every single parent carrying silent pain…
You are strong, but you are still human.
You pray, you provide, you protect — but you are not meant to suffer alone.
It’s okay to say, “I’m not okay.”
It’s okay to admit that something hurt you.
It’s okay to need someone to listen.
Opening up does not make you weak.
It makes you wise.
Even in the Bible, we see that no one was meant to walk alone. In Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, it says that two are better than one — because when one falls, the other can help them up. God never designed you to carry every burden by yourself.
Sometimes we stay silent because:
We don’t want to look weak.
We don’t want to be judged.
We think no one will understand.
But healing often begins with one safe conversation.
One trusted friend.
One church leader.
One counsellor.
Speaking about your pain:
Releases pressure from your heart.
Prevents bitterness from growing.
Allows others to support you.
Shows your children that it’s healthy to express emotions.
You teach your children strength every day — but you also teach them courage when you model honesty.
You deserve support.
You deserve comfort.
You deserve to be heard.
If you are hurting, please don’t isolate yourself. Reach out. Even if your voice shakes.
God sees you.
And there are people who care more than you think
