Kettle & Fish is a Christian Community Cafe. Volunteer helpers come from various local churches. It is normally open on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month.

Kettle & Fish is not open this Thursday. It is next open on 23 July. Please do drop in and see us then. We will be serving the same delicious food and providing the same friendly welcome as always, 9.45am to 1.15pm at Suffolk Road Church, next to Aldi.

Future dates are: 23 July, 13 & 27 August, 24 September, 8 & 22 October. (No K&F on 10 September because of holidays. If you picked up a list of dates last Thursday, please note that there were a couple of errors in the September and October dates.)

As always, dates may occasionally change at short notice.

This weather is creating a great need for some of our non core items.

We are running low on personal hygiene products and cleaning items at the moment.

With the summer holidays fast approaching and no change in the current forecast for the next two weeks, can we please ask for donations of children's sun cream. Thank you.

This Saturday, 23 May, we are at Little Cornard Church, from 8 to 9.30am for a light breakfast, a time of fellowship and a time for prayer.

Do join us if you can. You will be most welcome, whether you have never been before, or have not been for a couple of years, or are a regular!

Directions to Little Cornard Church:

From Sudbury Belle Vue junction take B1508 Cornard Road/Kings Hill/Bures Road.

After about two miles, at the sign for Little Cornard Parish Church, turn left into Keddington Hill.

After about 1 mile, at the sign for Church Parking, turn right into the field.

(The postcode CO10 0PD will get you to Keddington Hill.)

There is an alternative route using Prospect Hill, Great Cornard

On 30 May we are at Friends Meeting House (Quakers), Friars Street, Sudbury.

Sadly, everyone is feeling the squeeze at the moment and I want to thank all those who contribute to foodbank.
Last month (April 2026) we saw an increase of over 50 people more attending in comparison to this time last year. Unfortunately we are recieving less. I kindly ask you to please support your local food bank by dropping items in at Waitrose, Sainsbury's or local Co-Ops in Long Melford/Lavenham/ Great Cornard- The drift.
Public donations drop- off at Milner Road on Thursdays 10-noon.
