Last weekend, we witnessed something truly powerful—lives being transformed through baptism. Each person who stepped into the water made a bold and beautiful declaration of faith, and it was nothing short of inspiring.

There were smiles, tears, cheers, and so much joy as friends, family, and our whole community came together to celebrate new beginnings. Moments like these remind us of hope, grace, and the incredible journey we’re all on.

To everyone who took that step—your courage and faith lit up the room. We are so proud of you and can’t wait to see what’s ahead! 🙌

At Stratford, we will meet together on Good Friday at 11am for a quiet and meditative service as we reflect on what Jesus did for us on that very first Good Friday.

Help us get a grant from Newham Council to improve people's life chances and cost of living crisis in Manor Park! We want to offer English Class, Digital Skills, 'Manage My Money' workshops.

"People Powered Places" is the grant.
Please do this before the end of November if you live, study, work or regularly volunteer (like at Church) in Newham. Online voting is done on Newham Co-create, Newham’s online participation platform, here www.newham.gov.uk/peoplepoweredplaces.
You'll register (or log in) to 'Newham Co-create', then go to the People Powered Places page and provide details such as your door number and postcode (this helps LBN make sure people only vote once).
Choose the box called Manor Park Neighbourhood.
Our programme is called Cost of Living SOS.
You get ten bids. Make sure you use one of your choices for our compassion activities at Storehouse.

Voting in person is also possible. Go to your local library (and in Manor Park you can also go to The Jack Cornwell Centre) to vote there.
