Happy Patronal Festival!

Today we celebrate our Patroness, the Blessed Virgin Mary. We thank God for the gift of our faith, our community, and for Mary’s loving intercession and example.

May Our Blessed Mother continue to guide and protect our parish, our families, and each one of us.

Wishing everyone a blessed and joyful Patronal Festival. Let us celebrate together with faith, love and gratitude.

This Sunday, we hear Jesus ask: “Who do you say that I am?”

Peter answers: “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

May we have the courage to make those words our own and follow Christ faithfully.

A warm thank you to Fr Adam for celebrating Mass at 8am this morning, and to Fr Doug for celebrating at 10am. We are very grateful for their ministry and support.

THE ARK – TODAY
Families, children and young people are warmly invited to The Ark at 3.30pm today. All young people are welcome, whether baptised or not.

BIBLE STUDY – Tuesday 18 August
📖 10.30am in church. Bible Study takes place every other Tuesday. For more information, please speak to Kally O’Connor.

KNIT & NATTER – Tuesday 18 August
🧶 2.00–3.30pm. Come along with your knitting, another craft, or simply yourself, for tea and a chat. All are welcome.

PAROCHIAL CHURCH COUNCIL – Wednesday 16 September
⛪ Mass at 7.00pm, followed by PCC business at 7.30pm.

MEN’S GROUP – Wednesday 23 September
🍻 The next meeting will be at The Robin Hood Inn at 8.00pm.

Following the fire in our local community, we want to reassure everyone that the church will remain open as it always has been.

Our doors are open to everyone. If you have been affected by the fire, need somewhere safe and welcoming to come, or simply need a quiet place to sit, pray or speak with someone, you are very welcome.

We are here as part of our local community, and we will continue to offer our support wherever we can.

Please keep all those affected in your thoughts and prayers. ❤️

The ARK is on this Sunday at 3:30pm at Church.

We'll be reading The Tiger Who Came to Tea and talking about sharing and caring.

If the children would be happy to bring a toy to share with someone else for the afternoon, then they're welcome to bring something.

Not to worry if all their toys are very special to them!

Once again, we'll have some songs, prayers and fun activities. We might even be decorating some cakes, along the teatime theme!

All are welcome, no fees.
