LITTLE ACORNS TODDLER GROUP

PLEASE NOTE: The first session of Little Acorns is NEXT Thursday, 10th September, not tomorrow.

We thought that as most schools start on Thursday 3rd Sept, we would leave it a week for everyone to get back into the routine.

Please also note the change of time to 9.00 - 11.00am.

However, there will be someone around from 8.30am and open for business, and we will be around afterwards until around 11.15am if needed.

We know that little ones don’t always fit neatly into a timetable! You’re very welcome to arrive when you can and leave when you need to. Perhaps you need to come in a little early or leave a little later to drop off or collect an older child from Little Lambs or school, or maybe your little one’s nap or sleep routine doesn’t quite match our session times. Don’t worry — just come along for as much of the session as works for you and your family. We’re always happy to see you!

Hope everyone has had a good Summer, looking forward to spending the Autumn with you and your little ones.

🌻 WELCOME BACK 🌻

Little Lambs Pre-School and all the groups that meet at Bethel are starting back over the next week!

It will be lovely to see everyone again after the Summer break, and a real joy to welcome old friends, new faces and everyone in between as we get back into the swing of things.

There’s lots to look forward to as a new season begins — new opportunities, new beginnings, and plenty of familiar faces along the way!

We can’t wait to see you! 💚

All the kids who have been to our One Way Holiday Club this week have had a fantastic time!

Nearly 30 kids each day this week have enjoyed a variety of activities, with the overall theme of the World of Imagination!
They've had dance and movement with Neive from Stagecoach, a visit from Angies Animal Antics, made dragons from clay, watched Peter Pan and made dens, had some wonderful books to explore, they really used their imaginations making things and during free play time, and to round the week off today, a talent show organised by a couple of the children and a Wet & Wild Party, where no-one escaped getting completely drenched!
I think its fair to say they've enjoyed themselves!

Many thanks to Clare and all the team who have worked so hard this week to make sure that everyone had the best time.

It's all over for this year now, but there are still the monthly One Way Clubs on Saturday mornings (dates for Autumn Term on the information leaflet) and weekly Sunday morning Pathfinders and Pathbreakers, where lots of activities and fun are available for all

Still some Crocosmia left on the car park outside office door, a couple if pots and a big bag if you want to help yourself to them bring a bag with you.
Looking a bit worse for wear now, but let the foliage die back and they will be great next year.
Gates open until around 7pm this evening. Anything left is going to the tip Monday morning.

Would anyone like some Crocosmia for their gardens?
There has been a bit of an update to the gardens at Bethel, and a lot of crocosmia have been taken up, so if you would like some of them (the corms are attached) please just come along, bring your own bag and take some from the big builders bag on the car park near to the office door.
Hopefully they should grow next year and produce lovely flowers like the ones still in our borders (though these have suffered due to the dry conditions this year).
