Thank you for the songs we shall sing, the prayers that we will share, and the message of your word that will guide our steps in the week ahead.
Thank you for the sacrifice of Jesus, which brings us forgiveness and eternal hope.
As we leave our place of worship later , fill our hearts with your peace.

🎺 A free afternoon of live music and remembrance takes place at Stonefield Park tomorrow.

Stone Town Council’s annual brass band concert runs from 2pm to 4pm on Sunday 16 August, alongside a cream tea afternoon.

There will also be a short service commemorating the Burma Star and remembering those who lived through, served and lost their lives in the Far East during the Second World War.

If you’re looking for a quieter way to spend Sunday afternoon, this could be one for you.

is never overcome by darkness.
May it be so in this our time.

Jesus Christ, the Light of the World,
in your mercy and grace
you surprisingly said to us,
“You are the light of the world.”
May it be so in this our time.

Spirit of light and love,
kindle in us fresh urgency
to love and serve the human family,

Heavenly Father,
we thank You for the beautiful game of football and the joy it brings to our nation.
We pray for the England squad, their managers, and all who represent us.Grant them strength of body, clarity of mind, and the resilience to endure.
Protect them from harm, and unite them as a team.When the pressure is great, grant them peace and grace.
