We are a team of eight churches located close to the beautiful Suffolk coast around the town of Southwold and the River Blyth.

More celebrations! Suffolk Historic Churches Trust joined our choral evensong at Holy Trinity, Blythburgh with the Lord Lieutenant in attendance and The Venerable Rich Henderson preaching. The Blythburgh Singers sang the most exquisite anthem using the new bell platform and choir stalls to create a unique sound filling the entire church.

WE HAVE MORE EXCITING NEWS TO SHARE ..............

The Right Revd Dr Joanne Woolway Grenfell, the Bishop of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich, is delighted to announce that The Revd Dr Sarah West has been appointed as Team Vicar in The Sole Bay Team Ministry. Sarah is currently serving as Assistant Curate.of Great Shelford in the Diocese of Ely. Sarah will be licensed on Sunday 18th October 3pm at St Peter & St Paul’s Church Wangford. The Bishop has asked me to pass on her thanks to all those involved in the process of Sarah’s appointment, and she assures you of her prayers. This appointment is subject to legal formalities.

We cant wait to welcome Sarah to our Sole Bay Team 😀
