World Congress of the International Christian Nursing Fellowship (NCFI) in Málaga

The city of Málaga was the setting for the prestigious World Congress of the International Christian Nursing Fellowship (NCFI), an event that brought together Christian nurses and healthcare professionals from around the world. The congress, held from June 23 to 30, began with a pre-congress from June 23 to 26, where more than 100 participants attended seminars on various courses and participated in strategic meetings.

The main congress took place from June 27 to 30, gathering 275 participants from 42 nations. The opening ceremony was a showcase of culture and fellowship, with participants wearing traditional costumes from their countries, parading with their flags, and enjoying a performance by the Málaga gospel choir. City authorities also participated, making the inauguration an unforgettable moment. The inaugural day concluded with a Christian flamenco cultural show, highlighting the rich Andalusian tradition.

Under the theme "Courage and Strength for Caring," the congress focused on delving into the values that make Christian nursing a unique way to address patients' needs in various contexts. During the event, 8 simultaneous seminars, inspiring presentations, and biblical expositions enriched the attendees' experience.

The Diocesan House of Málaga, the congress venue, provided a welcoming and suitable environment for the scheduled activities, receiving praise from participants for its excellent hospitality and facilities.

On Friday, attendees enjoyed a tour of the city of Málaga, with impeccably organized logistics involving 7 buses, allowing them to explore and appreciate the beauty and culture of the host city.

This congress was not only a blessing for the participants but also had a positive impact on the city of Málaga, strengthening ties between the local community and international visitors.
