God is our hiding place,
A shelter when the storms arise,
A quiet refuge in the raging wind,
A steady hand when fear fills our eyes.
He is always near—
Our refuge in the breaking waves,
Our strength when we feel weak,
The One who holds, restores, and saves.
So be watchful, be prayerful,
Guard your heart and guard your way,
Lest the subtle snares of darkness
Lead your soul astray.
Trouble lingers everywhere,
It waits in shadows, loud and still—
O soul, learn where to run,
To the One above all will.
For troubles may awaken fear,
And shake the ground beneath your feet,
But know the place of safety sure—
Where mercy and power meet.
No storm can outshine His strength,
No night can dim His light,
For God is present in it all,
Our dawn within the night.
He sees, He knows, He walks within,
Each trial we endure,
And through it all, His faithful hand
Will lead us safe and sure.
Let His peace calm troubled hearts,
Let His stillness silence fear,
And in the quiet of His presence,
His glory will appear.
