Our Women’s Vice-Captain Nadia has been a part of the club since first year - though her debut was… memorable, to say the least. Legend has it that after the infamous Freshers’ Curry, she was last seen communing with the bathroom floor, and has no recollection of the incident to this day.
A true club veteran in only her second year, Nadia’s record of destruction includes blacking out on Circle Line, somehow securing herself a boyfriend mid-crawl, and scaling the Reynolds gate after 9pm like a drunk Mission Impossible stunt double. The fact she made it home unscathed remains a miracle.
Known for being quiet and composed when sober, Nadia’s transformation after a few drinks is nothing short of spectacular, it only takes a look to convince her to go to Embargos.
When she’s not busy at training or a social, Nadia can be found chronically online or with her head buried in a book, proving that chaos and culture can coexist peacefully. She’s also ready to follow in Lizzie’s footsteps and take care of the freshers — because every team needs someone responsible enough to carry the drunk ones home (even if she might be one of them).
A woman of contradictions: quiet yet chaotic, caring yet cursed, and somehow still in charge.

Introducing our Women’s Captain, Arya - a brick wall in goal, a menace with a megaphone voice, and a ghost at training. Despite allegedly being “too busy studying,” Arya has somehow managed to secure her position as captain - though mostly through sheer volume and fear tactics.
Tour remains a sensitive topic: reports confirm Arya’s commitment to “team bonding” was so thorough it required a full day of recovery and soul-searching. The Royal Albert Hall episode lives largely as a cautionary tale. Its touching for us to know that a part of Arya will always be in South Kensington.
Off the pitch, Arya is a passionate advocate for capybaras with them often making the appearance at trainings. Is this Camden propaganda ()? Whether converting teammates to the Camden cause or debating the superior emotional intelligence of semi-aquatic rodents, Arya’s commitment knows no bounds.

On the pitch, she can be found barking orders with the authority of someone who definitely did show up to training. An optimist at heart who insists every night out will be “a quiet one”, Arya embodies the spirit of ICLax: resilient, chaotic, and occasionally conscious.

Captain Bottle himself at your service.
Yes, the South Fulham Shark is looking for victims further afield as he leads our Minors, sorry I mean Miners, to victory in Exeter.
This year, Fraser is looking forward to passing his 3rd year of Materials Science, defeating his ghosts and finally learning the rules of mixed lacrosse.
He plans on getting a fully RSM team to play and is hoping to bribe them with his famous mushroom soup. If the Bottle squad can survive eating that, they can survive anything.

With a full squad and a new goalie, ICLax takes a trip down South.

What: 10-a-side mixed rules group stage competition

When: 28th February 9am-5pm

Where: Harlington Sports Grounds, Sipson Lane, UB3 5AQ

How much: ÂŁ100 PER TEAM ( max 18 players)

Every team must bring two qualified umpires and a first aid kit. Changing facilities are available but only on an individual rather than whole team basis due to crowd control.
