In this video, we explore the story connected to Zippor, the father of Balak, king of Moab. When the Israelites camped on the plains of Moab on their way to the Promised Land, the Moabites were filled with fear because of their great number.

Balak believed that spiritual power could defeat Israel, so he sent for Balaam, a prophet, to curse them. Altars were built and sacrifices were offered, but each time Balaam tried to curse Israel, God turned the curse into a blessing because of His love for His people.

However, Balaam later gave Balak a cunning plan that led Israel into sin through idolatry and immorality, bringing God’s judgment and a deadly plague among the Israelites.

In this video, we’ll break down:
• Who Zippor was
• Why Balak feared Israel
• Balaam’s attempt to curse Israel
• How God turned curses into blessings
• The lasting warning from the teaching of Balaam

This passage reminds us that God protects His people, but also calls them to remain faithful and avoid the traps of compromise.

In this video, we explore Kibroth Hattaavah in Numbers 11, the place whose name means “graves of craving.”

As the Israelites journeyed through the wilderness, they began to complain about their hardships and longed for the food of Egypt. Their dissatisfaction revealed hearts driven by craving rather than gratitude. In response, God provided quail but also judged their rebellion. The place where many were buried became known as Kibroth Hattaavah.

We’ll examine:
• Why the Israelites complained despite God’s provision
• The meaning of Kibroth Hattaavah
• The danger of unchecked craving and discontentment
• Moses’ burden as a leader
• The spiritual lessons about gratitude and obedience

Numbers 11 reminds us that unchecked desire can lead to spiritual consequences. God calls His people to trust Him daily and guard their hearts against discontent.
