It wouldn’t be right to not share something from England’s Nazareth on the Feast of Our Lady’s Birthday….Mass at Wainfleet S Mary today at 12Noon with Fr Paul as Principal Celebrant and Fr Aiden preaching.

Today we celebrate the birthday of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Impart to your servants, we pray, O Lord,
the gift of heavenly grace,
that the feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin
may bring deeper peace
to those for whom the birth of her son
was the dawning of salvation.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of
the Holy Spirit,
God for ever and ever.

This pastoral letter from the Rector will be available in paper form in churches this Sunday. The letter details a change to the clergy team for October, November and December and concerns all parishes in our benefice but particularly Welton and Wainfleet All Saints.

Join us to give thanks for the harvest. We are looking for donations of fruit and vegetables to decorate the church for our service on 24th September. These items will then be auctioned at our Harvest Lunch on Saturday 26th September.
Donations can be left in the church prior to the service or why not come to the service and bring your donation with you. Everyone welcome.

On Saturday, the Rector has the privilege of blessing the civil marriage of David and Anita at Bratoft. Do hold David and Anita in your prayers as they embark on married life together.
